This Ridgewood, NJ home features unique angles and high ceilings over this modern Italian Cesar Maxima 2.2 kitchen in teak wood veneer. This interior design concept gives this open concept kitchen a bright, airy, and open feel to be enjoyed by the owners and guests. It is to be noted that many homes do not have the luxury of incorporating so much height and space into their open kitchen, which makes this custom kitchen design unique and stand out. The redesigned, refinished kitchen by Modiani Kitchens features Teak wood veneer on the cabinetry, Caesarstone quartz countertops, and kitchen appliances by the US high-end kitchen appliance firm Subzero.

Back To Modern Kitchen Portfolio

To complement the unique features that the home itself gives this modern high-end Italian kitchen, the design here is relatively minimalistic, yet drawing the attention to certain design elements within this open kitchen space. The stainless steel railings of the stairway and loft space allow a direct view of the kitchen and living room space below, and the stairway’s connection to the beam becomes an integral design element. It is possible to view the tall high-end European kitchen cabinets within the kitchen from most spots within the interior space thanks to the high ceilings and the spacious layout and design of this contemporary kitchen. Even though the design itself is minimalistic, there is no shortage of functionality in the space. This open concept kitchen leaves all kitchen appliances in stainless steel freely exposed to create a sense of industrial design, which is a common trend in today’s modern kitchen.

A large, straight workspace modern kitchen island with four very comfortable designer seating options runs parallel to the kitchen countertop and the L-shaped kitchen design that contains all main cabinetry as well as kitchen’s the sink and the stovetop. Plenty of storage space has been worked into the kitchen island and the cabinetry beneath the kitchen countertops, and along the integrated wall that contains the ovens as well as the refrigerator by Subzero. In addition, a bifold glass wall cabinet has been situated to the left of the window. The tall teak kitchen cabinets and the base cabinets utilize finger pull channels, which is a kitchen handle solution very popular amongst our clients at Modiani Kitchens.
