This Ridgewood, NJ home features unique angles and high ceilings over the luxury kitchen, which gives the kitchen a bright, airy, and open feel that many homes do not have the luxury of incorporating into the kitchen space. The redesigned, refinished kitchen by Modiani Kitchens features Teak wood veneer on the cabinetry, Caesarstone countertops, and appliances by Subzero.

To complement the unique features that the home itself gives this high-end kitchen – the stainless steel railings of the stairway and loft space, the stairway’s connection to the beam over the tall high-end cabinets within the kitchen, and the high ceilings – the design here is relatively minimalistic. However, although the design itself is minimalistic, there is no shortage of functionality in the space.

A large workspace island runs parallel to the countertop that contains the sink and the stovetop. Plenty of storage has been worked into the island, beneath the countertop, and along the wall that contains the ovens as well as the refrigerator. In addition, a bifold glass wall cabinet has been situated to the left of the window. The tall cabinets and the base cabinets utilize finger pull channels.
