Our Modiani kitchen designer Bernard used Cesar’s Maxima 2.2 kitchen model here, which is the most popular kitchen model provided by the leading Italian kitchen brand Cesar, for whom Modiani Kitchens is the exclusive distributor across New Jersey. Part of the challenge of this design was to integrate the existing commercial kitchen appliances into this interior space, which was the homeowners’ preference and a very new approach for our design team. To address this challenge, commercial kitchen appliances were installed and combined with the modern Italian high-end cabinets that were sleek in appearance. The overall aesthetics of this space is modern with a transitional touch through the use of colors and use of sleek, round kitchen handles in a stainless steel finish.
The homeowners wanted to achieve a design and look that was both contemporary and warm at the same time, which is achieved here with the blending of dark and light materials and kitchen cabinet finishes. They complement one another in their contrast and create an added focus through the natural daylight that comes in generously through the centrally located kitchen window. In the evenings, our direct and indirect kitchen lighting solutions ensure that an equally friendly and cozy atmosphere can be achieved. A visual centerpiece in this residential kitchen is the modern kitchen island, which also features dark larch laminate as part of this one tone brown color kitchen concept. The kitchen island offers abundant storage space as well as work and eating surfaces. There are two other color contrasts that can be found in this kitchen, which are the quartz countertop, as provided by Caesarstone in organic white, and the beautiful gray kitchen flooring.
