This kitchen, which is a fairly small U-shaped space, provided a spacing challenge. The appliances are very large, and it was important to create a functional space that also provided seating. A peninsula butcher block top island was incorporated into the space, furthering the overall U-shape characteristics of the space. Although the peninsula is fairly narrow, it adds a great deal of functionality to the space and is visually significant to the overall aesthetic of the room.
The butcher block is walnut and features bead board in the back. Other intricate characteristics of this luxury kitchen space include three-piece moulding at the ceiling, which goes around the entire perimeter of the room, a Carrera mosaic backsplash, white painted maple inset cabinets, and beaded inset cabinet door.

“We are really thrilled with our kitchen. We love the quality of the cabinets, both on the exteriors and interiors.”
