This modern kitchen is located in a beautiful transitional-style house in Englewood, NJ, around one mile from Downtown Englewood. The kitchen model used is a modern-style Italian Cesar Maxima 2.2 kitchen. The client chose white silk lacquer wall cabinets, and brown Castagna melamine base cabinets with brown filo handles. As recommended by our kitchen designer Bernard, white glossy tiles were selected for the backsplash.

Since the client lives in Englewood, they were familiar with the Modiani Kitchen Showroom and the high quality of product and service provided. They needed a new kitchen for their home, and approached Modiani to design a modern custom kitchen, using the Subzero and Thermador kitchen appliances they already owned. Our kitchen designer Bernard suggested a U-shape kitchen layout with a functional kitchen island in the center of the kitchen. For the countertops we recommended to choose Organic White Caesarstone.

The kitchen is located on the ground floor with a wonderful view of the garden, trees and hilly surroundings. The house itself is built on a knoll, which allows for a lot of sunlight in the afternoon. The modern kitchen can be accessed through the living room or the garage door, and has access to a terrace, where the couple can enjoy their meals. When coming up with the kitchen design, Bernard considered existing interior design elements, like the flooring, visible appliances, lamps and large wooden table that dominates the open kitchen space.
