A short commute from Manhattan, this Englewood, NJ kosher home has a stunning, luxury flair and is just a few minutes off of George Washington Bridge, which connects New Jersey and New York City in Upton Manhattan. In this residential home, our modern Italian kitchen cabinets by Cesar Kitchens were used from Cesar’s most popular kitchen line, called Cesar Maxima 2.2. While this kosher kitchen was designed by our Modiani kitchen designers, the overall architectural design was created by the renowned NJ architect Jordan Rosenberg. We have worked with this architect on several kitchen and home renovation projects, and have yet had another successful project through this stunning kosher kitchen.

The wall and tall kitchen cabinets of this residential kosher kitchen both use an Ecru Gloss glass kitchen cabinet finish, while the base cabinet uses Walnut Laminate. This modern kitchen project also incorporates a white Elm laminate finish, which is being used in the perimeter of the home. All of the design pieces visible embrace a typical contemporary kitchen style, which was the preference of the Jewish homeowners. The active family who lives in the home includes two adults and four children, so the kitchen design needed to be functional and prepared for heavy use in terms of cooking, entertaining, and working. As mentioned, this high-end designer kitchen, which has a large footprint, is a kosher kitchen, which means that the design needed to incorporate two ovens, two sinks, and two dishwashers, with a full glass front.

The island in this kosher kitchen design features a large workspace including a sink as well as seating options for three people. In between the kitchen island and the kitchen window front, there are several more seating options around the kitchen table made of glass. The kitchen island itself features ample storage space, which is further fortified by wall, tall, and base kitchen cabinets. The kitchen appliances were provided by Wolf, Electrolux, and Jenn Air, and were incorporated into the design seamlessly, while still being openly exposed, hence creating a very contemporary, trendy look with stainless-steel design effects. The kitchen flooring is made of gray and white textured ceramic tiles in square format, which doesn’t just look trendy, but also makes it easy to clean up the kitchen floor after a cooking session, social or family gathering.
