Modern Kitchen

This kitchen is located in a private residence in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The existing kitchen was an older construction traditional kitchen, however, the rest of the home had since been updated to embrace a more modern style. This high-end Italian kitchen was updated to more closely match the modern touches of the home overall, integrating the space more cohesively into the residence.

Despite embracing a modern feel, the homeowners wanted to retain the warmth of the original traditional kitchen. To create a warm but ultimately modern aesthetic, Modiani designers used bark elm laminate combined with gloss laminate and acid finish glass. A warm wooden butcher block countertop is also integrated into the end of the island, here used as a dining table that is supported by modern custom stainless steel rectangular bases.

Features of this kitchen include an individual bar unit with an LED television installed over it and fully integrated appliances including an oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, cooktop, and hood. The appliances and hood in the space are Gaggenau.
